Halloween Picture

I grabbed this picture of my sister at her Facebook page.  Timing for Halloween lol. In the Philippines, some people believe that  witch exists.  I have never seen one  so I don't believe in it.  The word Aswang means witch.  On another note, my sister  was hired at the school where I worked then.  She was just a substitute to one of the  office secretaries.  Her  contract will end  on the last day of this month.  She is worried as to what her future holds.  She think  that the Dean wants her to stay but  she is not sure if it is going to be approved.  I told her to have faith and pray a lot.  I always pray that she  get employed their permanently.
I talked to her  the other day and she  is still worried  about  her employment.  She hasn't heard  if she will be hired permanently or not although she said the Dean  would love her to stay but it is up for the management to decide.  Anyway, one of the secretary's main job is to take minutes  when there are faculty meetings.  This is where her weakness lies because English is not her strong suit so she  asks me  once in a while to help her translate  minutes.  I told her that there are different ways to improve her vocabulary and reading  more often is one of them.  I also told her about the translation service that Rosetta Translation agency offers worldwide.  I know that with her salary, she won't be able to afford it but it's one of the   different options she can use in the future.  For now, I help her out when I am not busy but I told her that she can't rely on me because I am also very busy  most of the times.

Rebuilding a House that was Burned by the Fire

I think the worse natural disaster is fire.  With typhoon, your house may get torn into pieces but at least you can still salvage some of it...
